Day 1, Saturday: Arrive Istanbul, Turkey
Arrive at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, where you are met by name board and transfer to your Hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2, Sunday: Istanbul – F/D Old City Tour
Your day begins with a guided tour exploring the ancient city with highlights to include: Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmet 1 built in 1616 that is famous for unequalled ceramic tiles. You walk across the famous Byzantine Hippodrome where gladiators had fought and chariots had raced. Serpentine Column, Obelisk of Theodosius and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating the Hippodrome. You will be guided through Topkapi Palace, the Imperial residence of the Ottoman Sultans between 15th-19th centuries. The 6 million square footpalace, the oldest and largest remaining in the world, housed more than 10,000 people and is loaded with extraordinary gold, silver and gem collections, a jeweled throne room and the remains of a 400-roomharem pavilion… (Harem section is not included in the program; if requested extra entrance fee is due) and Hagia (St.) Sophia, one of the greatest marvels of architecture, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by the Emperor Justinian. Overnight in Istanbul. (B)

Day 3, Monday: Istanbul – Canakkale – F/D Gallipoli & Dardanelles Tour
After breakfast head to Gallipoli. The World War I battlefields of Gallipoli are now a serene site. Visit the Lone Pine Australian Memorial and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial, ANZAC Cove, Johnston's Jolly and Kabatepe Gallipoli. Then you will pass over the Dardanelles by ferry and you will proceed to Canakkale. Overnight in Canakkale. (B,D)

Day 4, Tuesday: F/D Troy & Pergamum Tour
After breakfast you will drive to Troy. Your guide will show you the immortal city of the legendary Helen of Troy and of the Trojan horse which was destroyed and rebuilt nine times. After the visit you will proceed to Pergamum. The ancient town of Pergamum was one of the most important centers of culture and artsof its time. Your guide will escort first to the Acropolis, and see the Temple of Athena, the library, the Royal Palaces, the Temple of Trojan, the steepest theater of the world, the Temple of Dionysos, the Altar of Zeus which was referred to in the Bible as "Satan's Seat." Pergamum was a great center of scholarship and learning. Anthony took the library with its 200,000 rolls and transferred it to Alexandria as a present for Cleopatra.
Then you visit Asclepion, an amazing ancient medical center. The ruins here are so complete that walking among them one can relive the methods employed in this health center, from sacrifice to psychodrama… Travel along the Aegean coast to Kusadasi and overnight in Kusadasi. (B,D)

Day 5, Wednesday: F/D Ephesus Tour
After breakfast, you head for nearby Efes (Ephesus), where you spend a busy day visiting the spectacular ruins of Ephesus, including the Marble Street, the largest ancient theater in the world, recently excavated monuments, the temple of Hadrian, the Celsus Library and hillside palaces. Then you will visit the House of Virgin Mary. Mother Mary, accompanied by John the Apostle, came to Ephesus at the end of her life. In 1967, Pope Paul VI declared the site authentic and each year a traditional service is held for the pilgrims. Next visit is to the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, which was once one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Overnight in Kusadasi. (B,D)

Day 6, Thursday: Kuşadasi-Samos
After breakfast transfer to Kusadasi Port for Samos with ferry. At arrival in Samos, you will transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Samos. (B)

Day 7, Friday: Samos – free day
Today you can enjoy your free day at the Island or you can join our optional tour. Overnight in Samos. (B)

Optional Tour: F/D Island Tour
This trip has been designed to showcase the island that inspired these great minds. Together with your guide you’ll discover the Temple of Hera. Once, this was the largest Greek temple in existence and it was built to honour the goddess of women and marriage. All that’s left today is a single column that looks like a circular Jenga tower. From here, you’ll move on to the Monastery of Megali Panagia. This place was built by monks in the 16th century and it’s still in working order today. Next, comes the only bit of the trip that breaks from tradition. After then you’ll have time for a break in Pyrgos. This village is traditional to a T and its locals work in viticulture, beekeeping and olive-growing. You’ll get to taste some of the local produce alongside a glass of ouzo in a local café here. You’ll end the day in Koumaradei, where you’ll pop into a traditional herb shop before heading back to your hotel.
Day 8, Saturday: Samos - Mykonos
You will drive to the port for your transfer to Mykonos by the regular ferry. At arrival in Mykonos, you will transfer to the hotel. You will have free time for the rest of the day. Overnight in Mykonos. (B)

Day 9, Sunday: Mykonos- free day
Today you can enjoy your free day at the Island or you can join our optional tour. Overnight in Mykonos. (B)

Optional Tour: Half Day Island Tour
Starting the City-and Island tourby walking the small and narrow streets, we have many possibilities to take nice photographs in the early morning, quiet city. We get orientation and information inthe labyrinth of the old town as well as impressions of the small port and the churches in town. Of course we will see the famous wind-mills and find Petros The Pelican, the mascot of Mykonos. After this, we are exploring the island with a bus, visiting some of the most famous beaches and the inner land-scape. We see fishermen and kaikis, small private chapels and houses built in typical cycladic style. In the second main village of Mykonos, Ano Mera, an idyllic place 7km from town, where the guests have enough free time for a stroll around the traditional square and they can visit the monk monastery Panagia Tourliani built in the 16th century. Next stop is Kalafatis beach were there is time to relax a little and have a coffee or a refreshment (not included in the price), before going back to town and to reach a place witha fantastic viewall over the town and neighboring islands.

Day 10, Monday: Mykonos - Santorini
You will drive to the port for your transfer to Santorini by the regular ferry. At arrival in Santorini, you will transfer to the hotel. You will have free time for the rest of the day. Overnight in Santorini. (B)

Day 11, Tuesday: Santorini – Free Day
Today you can enjoy your free day at the Island or you can join our optional tour. Overnight in Santorini. (B)
Optional Tour: FD Akrotiri with Sunset in Ia
Akrotiri is a Bronze Age settlement on the volcanic island of Santorini (Thera). The settlement was destroyed by a huge eruption during the 17th century BC buried under volcanic ash, which reserved the whole city in perfect conditions so as to bereferred often as “Prehistoric Pompei). You will proceed to the Red Beach, where you will have free time for photos or for a walk at the famous beach, well known for the unique colour of the sand and the hill behind it. After then, you will drive to the Perivolos Black Sand Beach; the best beach in Santorini, where you will have time at leisure for lunch or swimming. At afternoon you will enjoy a walk through Megalochori; one of the most beautiful traditional villages of the island, with its typical cycladic buildings. After a small wine tasting stop, you will continue to Oia, for the wonderful sunset view.

Day 12, Wednesday: Santorini-Athens:
Today you go by ferry to Athens. After check-in in your hotel in Athens, you will enjoy your free time in this beautiful city. Overnight in Athens. (B)
Day 13: Thursday: Athens - H/D City Tour- Athens - Istanbul
This tour gives you on opportunity to observe the striking contrasts, that make Athens such a fascinating city. Your guide will take you to see the center of the city; Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to a unknown Soldier and the National Library. Driving down the Atticus Street, you will see the Presidential Palace. On your way to Acropolis, you will see the Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and make a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. Overnight in Athens. (B)

Day 14: Friday: Athens Departure
